Requesting Letters of Recommendation
Given the volume of requests, students wishing to request a letter of recommendation need to email me at gprwall[at]uw[dot]edu with the following.
Requests must be sent at least two weeks, but preferably one month or more, before the deadline.
The course(s) you took with me, or other capacity in which I can write a letter on your behalf.
Updated CV.
Unofficial transcript.
Overview of the main details of the relevant program/position to which you are applying. This should include the deadline and how the letter should be submitted (e.g., mail, email, website).
Your personal statement/cover letter for the application, or a brief summary of your interests, experiences, and/or skills that make you well-suited for the program/position.
